  1. How many times out of ten does the learner exhibit reversals when writing or spelling?

  3. How many times out of ten is the learner awkward or uncomfortable while writing?

  5. How many times out of ten does the learner have difficulty remembering how to write individual letters?

     Suggestions for recalling letters = Memory Strategy
  7. How many times out of ten is it difficult for the learner to copy from a book or paper at his/her desk?

     Suggestions for copying from board = give learner a copy of the material at his/her desk.
  11. How many times out of ten are the learner's verbal skills stronger than his/her written skills?

    [To determine eye preference, roll a piece of paper to represent a telescope or kaleidoscope.  Hand the rolled up paper to the child at his/her midline and ask the child to look through it.  Notice which eye the child uses.]

    [To determine foot preference, ask the child to kick an imaginary ball.  Observe which foot the child uses.]
